AN INDOOR zoo, an aquarium, indoor soft play areas, facilities for young and old alike, and a ten-pin bowling alley are among imaginative ideas put forward for Wellington's mothballed supermarket by youngsters at Wellesley Park Primary School.

The visionary pupils were given photographs and the specifications of the site and worked in groups to develop plans for alternative uses.

Now they have presented their ideas to Wellington Town Mayor, Cllr Peter Critchard, and town cllr Andrew Govier this week.
