FIVE teams have applied to join the Taunton Saturday Football League which will be holding its annual meeting on Tuesday, June 27.They are Alcombe Rovers, who dropped out last season, Dunwear, AFC Newmarket, Kingstown Knights (all Bridgwater), and Huish Sports (Langport).Westonzoyland have withdrawn from the Premier Division, while White Eagles and Wembdon Colts pulled out during last season.It was always the intention of Alcombe to re-apply to join the league after taking a season out.Thirty-four teams completed last season in the league’s three divisions.
