KINGSMEAD Bowls Club, who meet at Langford Budville village hall on a weekly basis, are holding a five-week bowls tournament for local clubs raising money for the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance.

The clubs taking part are Oake, Bradford on Tone, Rockwell Green, Hemyock and Kingscliffe.

Oake and Hemyock are the current joint leaders going into the last week of the event.

Sadly, during the tournament, one of Kingsmead’s main club members has passed away and the club would like to take this opportunity to pass their condolences on to Mike Grabham’s family and friends.
