KILVE begin the defence of their title in the first division of the West Somerset Cricket League with a home game against Over Stowey on Saturday, May 4.

Kilve lost only one match in winning the championship last season, finishing 26 points clear of runners-up Holford.

Ashbrittle, who won the second division last season without losing a game, also have a home game to start the season - against Bridgetown.

Lydeard St Lawrence and Winsford, both relegated from the first division, kick off with away matches in Division Two. Lydeard play Huish Champflower while Winsford visit Crowcombe.

Watchet, champions of Division Three after going through last season without losing, are home to Stoodleigh.

There is one match in the league on Saturday, April 27 - Roadwater v Winsford.
