SOMERSET batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore has signed a multi-format contract extension which will see him remain at the Cooper Associates County Ground until at least the end of the 2027 season.
The 31-year-old joined Somerset ahead of the 2023 season and has represented the club on 50 occasions in the Vitality Blast, scoring almost 1432 runs at an average of 31.82 with a best 90.
He has also featured in 22 First Class matches for the county, scoring 1398 runs at an average of 39.94 with a top score of 147 not out.
A former Wisden Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year and England Lions player, Tom was called into the England ODI squad for the first time in 2023. He regularly features in global white-ball franchise competitions due to his impressive career T20 strike rate of 140.33 and played a crucial role as Somerset lifted the Vitality Blast trophy in 2023 and 2025.
After signing his contract extension, Tom said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time with Somerset, and I absolutely love everything about the club. It’s been an absolute privilege to be able to contribute to the club’s success on the field, and the culture that exists here is something special to be a part of.
“The backing that we get from the members and supporters is incredible and I hope that we can give them something more to cheer in the next few years.”
Somerset’s Director of Cricket Andy Hurry added: “Tom is widely regarded as one of the most destructive batters in the game and is also highly sought after in global franchise cricket.
“He has proved his quality both on and off the field during his time with Somerset and I know that our members and supporters will be excited to see him representing the club for the next few seasons.”
