HEMYOCK stay top of Division Four in the West Somerset Cricket League despite suffering a seven-wicket defeat at Brompton Ralph.

The Devon side were all out for 160 with John Hurley (32) and Ben Kittow (33) being their main scorers. Gary Whitaker, Ben Moody and John Bindon took two wickets each.

Brompton lost early wickets before Whitaker (59 not out) and Sam Winter (73) knocked off the runs for a comfortable victory.

Buckland St Mary and Bishopswood are lying fourth in the table after winning by seven wickets at Stoke St Mary who scored 240-4 with Thomas Sweet scoring 93. Ian Every (73) and Roger Kallaway (70) led the run-chase.
