WELLINGTON Sunday XI gained an 85-run away victory over Long Sutton in a 20-overs a side match over last weekend.
Batting first, Wellington scored 175-5 with Jack Beal hitting 51, Ben Evett 29, Sachindu Colombage 29 and Arron Campbell 23 not out.
Long Sutton made a reasonable start, being 39-2 at one stage but were eventually bowled out for 90 with Beal (3-12) and Nathan Yarde (3-15) being Wellington's main wicket takers.
Wellington will be back in action this coming Sunday when they play away to their West Monkton counterparts.
