WELLINGTON Cricket Club staged their opening Active8 Softball Session for Women at the Wellington Playing Field last week in conjunction with Somerset Cricket Board and their coach, international cricketer Sophie Luff, writes David Derrick.

This was the first of an eight-week programme of tuition that it is hoped will lay a solid and enduring platform for females to enjoy the game with and at Wellington CC going forward.
