SOMERSET and Dutch international Paul van Meekeren joined the All Stars cricket at Wellington Cricket Club.

Paul, 24, who is on a two-year contract with Somerset County Cricket Club, joined the boys and girls for a whole session and passed on advice and tips for the eager youngsters. He posed for photos and signed autographs. He also held a question and answer session and was asked to show how far he could hit and how fast he could bowl.

He has recently been accredited with bowling at approaching 90mph for his adopted county.

Wellington Cricket Club is indebted to Somerset County Cricket Club for allowing Paul to join them for this session.
