Clevedon have a three-point lead over second-placed Sidmouth Town - and also have three matches in hand. Wellington are down in 16th spot.
The Wellington club will also be holding their annual Christmas Jumpers Day. Wellington Silver Band will be playing carols ahead of kick-off, there will be mince pies on sale and a bucket collection with all proceeds going to the St Margaret’s Hospice.
Premier division fixtures: Bradford Town v Ivybridge Town, Bridgwater United v Saltash United, Oldland Abbotonians v Sidmouth Town, Paulton Rovers v St Austell, Shepton Mallet v Brislington, Torpoint Athletic v Street, Wellington v Clevedon Town.
Meanwhile Wellington Reserves, lying fourth in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter League, play away to Crediton United who are mid-table.
Wellington A, who have lost all eight of their matches in the Premier Division of the Taunton Saturday League, are without a game until the New Year. In fact they do not play until Saturday, January 10, when they entertain North Petherton.
Weather-permitting, Wellington Wildcats will be back in action on Sunday, December 14, when they play at home to Bridport in Division One of the Somerset Women’s League (2p.m.).
Wellington are lying second in the table, six points behind leaders Portishead Ladies Reserves but with a crucial game in hand. Wildcats will not be playing Portishead until early February when they play their title rivals away.
*Wellington’s away game against Shepton Mallet in the Les Phillips Cup on Tuesday night, was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
