WELLINGTON look to continue their bid to win the Somerset Division in the West of England Premier Cricket League when they play at home to third-placed Yeovil on Saturday, August 1 (12 noon).

Wellington, in second place, trail leaders Ilminster by 24 points with both sides having five more games to play. Ilminster will be hoping to stay ahead of their rivals on Saturday when they play at home to Taunton who are lying second from bottom.

Temple Cloud (4th) and Wembdon (5th) will also be looking to stay in touch with the leaders. Temple Cloud entertain North Perrott (tenth) while Wembdon are home to Chard (6th).

Saturday also sees Wellington CC's annual Ladies Day taking place from 1p.m. at just £5 per head and there is live music to dance the night away from 8p.m. in the form of duo 19Eighties.

Meanwhile, Wellington 2nd XI have a must-win match away to Weston super Mare 2nd XI if they are going to avoid relegation from Division One in the Somerset Cricket League.

With only five more games to play, Wellington are 33 points adrift at the bottom of the table. Weston are lying mid-table.
