WELLINGTON will be chasing their first victory of the season in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League when they play away to Temple Cloud on Saturday, May 17.
The North Somerset outfit have won their opening two matches and are the early leaders of the division along with Bridgwater 2nd XI and North Perrottt who are all on 40 points.
Wellington are one of three sides at the bottom of the table with only 12 points from their opening two matches, the others being Wembdon and Butleigh.
It is less than two seasons since Wellington went through the entire summer in this division without losing a game.
Wellington 2nd XI are home to Huntspill & District in Division Two of the Somerset League while Wellington 3rd XI are away to Huntspill & District 2nd XI in Division Seven Red.
