LOCAL darts star Ryan Searle will play Brendon Nolan on Saturday in the second round of the World Championships at Alexandra Palace, London.

Searle, who beat Chris Landman 3-1 in the opening round, has won £400,000 in prizemoney this year.

A record 128 players - 32 more than last year - entered this year’s competition with the winner receiving £1million in prizemoney. The runner up will receive £400,000 with £200,000 going to the semi-finalists.
