WELLINGTON stormed to a 110-run victory over Taunton Deane in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League at the Convent Field.
Put into bat, Wellington made 283 all out in 49-2 overs - their highest score of the season - and then bowled out the opposition for 173.

Sam Burgess was the Deane’s most successful wicket-taker, snapping up 5-73 in his ten-over stint while Sunil Lachit took 2-64.
The Deane never looked like getting the runs, and slumped to 26-4 as Luke Desave ripped through the home side’s top-order , taking 4-40 in ten overs. Burgess was their top scorer, scoring 32, while Russell Jones made 26, Edward Mellor 19 and Nick Pepper 17.
Campbell capped a fine display with figures of 3-35 in 8.3 overs, while Toby Stirzaker took 2-55 and Edirisinghe 1-25.
This was Wellington’s second win in eight days and easily their best performance of the season following the loss of all three of their opening games.
