WELLINGTON end a run of postponements in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League when they play at home to Brislington tomorrow (Sat, 3p.m.).

Wellington, who beat Cheddar 4-0 away in the quarter-finals of the Les Phillips Cup in mid-week, have not played a league match this year.

Their last game in the Premier Division was on Boxing Day when they lost 4-2 at home to Barnstaple Town who will be Wellington’s semi-final opponents in the Les Phillip Cup at the Carly Press Ground on Saturday, February 28.

Wellington are lying 16th in the table, while Brislington are a point adrift in 17th spot - but have played three more games than their rivals.

Wellington, in fact, still have another 15 league matches to play between now and the end of the season.
