WELLINGTON will be chasing their fourth successive win in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League when they play at home to second-placed North Perrott on Saturday, July 5 (12 noon).

Since losing a 20-overs a side bash against Wembdon in early June, Wellington have beaten Bridgwater 2nd XI, Butleigh and Shapwick and Polden and have moved up to sixth in the table in what is turning out to be a very competitive division.

Just five points separate the top four teams and Wellington are themselves only 23 points behind leaders Taunton Deane. North Perrott trail the Deane by only two points, having lost only two of their nine matches.

Fixtures for July 5: Bridgwater 2nd XI v Yeovil, Butleigh v Shapwick & Polden, Taunton Deane v Ilminster, Wellington v North Perrott, Wembdon v Temple Cloud.

Wellington 2nd XI will be looking to keep up the pressure on leaders West Monkton in Division Two of the Somerset Cricket League when they play away to bottom side Middlezoy.

Wellingtonn are now only 17 points behind Monkton after gaining a splendid win over the leaders last weekend. Monkton play at home to seventh-placed Frome.

Fixtures: Huntspill & District v Taunton, Burnham on Sea v Ilton, Middlezoy v Wellington, Staplegrove v Broadway & Horton, West Monkton v Frome.

Wellington 3rd XI will be hoping to fulfil their fixture at home to Staplegrove in Division Seven Red, having conceded the game at home to Uphill Castle last weekend .. Wellington are lying sixth in the table while Uphill are second.
