FORMER Wellington boss Leigh Robinson has been reappointed manager of Evo-Stik Southern League club Taunton Town for next season.

Robinson, who has been with Taunton for five seasons, steered them to the first round proper of the FA Cup where they lost 2-1 to Barrow in a replay in November.

Taunton’s chairman and chief executive Kevin Sturmey said: “I am delighted the board have unanimously reappointed Leigh. As far as I am concerned it was a no brainer.

“Leigh had a tough baptism in his first season with us but since then has quietly gone about his business. He is one of the most focussed people I have ever met in football.
