THE annual meeting of Wellington AFC will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday, June 24th, starting at 8pm.

A three-star FA Accredited club, Wellington have come to the end of another memorable season in which they have provided football for hundreds of men, women, boys and girls.

And off the field work has gone into improving their facilities at the Carly Press Ground, including the installation of new corner-mounted floodlights.

The club also plays a major role in the local community - the clubhouse in North Street is home to skittles and darts teams while the social facilities are in use throughout the year for events staged by local organisations, charities and individuals.

Few other clubs in Somerset field nearly 30 teams - catering for almost all age groups.

The club also have a thriving Ability Counts section with both adult and youth teams to reinforce their commitment to providing football for all.
