WELLINGTON will be looking to end their disappointing start to the rugby season when they play away to fellow strugglers Cullompton in Regional Two South West on Saturday, October 11.

Both sides have lost their opening four matches and occupy the bottom two places in the division - and both are still without a point.

Weston super Mare top the division with a 100 per cent record - and are the only unbeaten side in the division.

Wellington 2nd XV play away to Bridgwater & Albion Seconds in Counties Three Somerset South with both teams yet to record a victory.

Wiveliscombe, lying third in Counties One Western West, will be looking to maintain their fine form when they play away to eighth-placed Saltash while Wiveliscombe Seconds are home to Tor in Counties Three Somerset South.

Meanwhile Wellington’s footballers, who lost 3-1 away to leaders Clevedon Town in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League on Wednesday night after taking an 18th minute lead through Josh Baker, face another tough match on Saturday, October 11 - home to Torpoint Athletic, the only unbeaten side in the division (3p.m.). Wellington, who lost out at Clevedon to two late goals, have yet to win a home game although they have gained fine away victories over Bridgwater United and Street.

Wellington Reserves are away to Lyme Regis in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter League while Wellington A are without a game.

Wellington Wildcats entertain Chard Ladies in the first division of the Somerset Women's League on Sunday (2p.m.), while Wellington Under 18s are home to Axminster Town on the following Tuesday in the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League (7.30p.m.). Wellington have won two of their three games in South Division.
