WELLINGTON, ten points adrift at the bottom of the table, face another tough match tomorrow (Tues) when they play away to sixth-placed Tavistock Association in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League.

Wellington have lost all 13 of their league matches this season and unless there is a dramatic improvement in results face almost certain relegation.

A new four-strong management team is now in place with Joe Conway confirmed as manager of the Jewson League side, with John Norman as assistant manager. Josh Baker continues as club captain and Georgia Purdy as coach.

Wellington’s last three matches have been against top-five sides and while they have been competitive and defensively more organised they have not looked like winning.

Meanwhile, the club will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting in the clubhouse on Monday, October 19 (7.30p.m.) when it will be appointing a new chairman.
