DUE to the current situation with Covid-19, Wellington AFC had been unable to hold their usual end of season presentations.

But now that social distancing has been relaxed to enable pre-season training to commence it was thought to be an appropriate time to recognise players’ achievements from last season.

Wellington AFC youth teams’ end of season (2019/20) trophies were awarded to Danny Nichols (John Sellick’s most promising U18s team player), which was presented by John Sellick, and Callum Chivers (Des Waller Trophy for the most promising youth team player within the club), presented by club chairman Mike Hall.

Both players have represented Somerset in the past season and been regular players for the under 18s and Wellington Reserves.
