WELLINGTON will be looking to keep up the pressure at the top of the Cornwall and Devon League when they play Plymstock Albion Oaks at home on Saturday, writes Barry Knott.

The Oaks are lying sixth in the table, just two places below Wellington who hammered Plymouth Argaum 50-0 away over the weekend, despite having to make several changes from the previous week’s side.

Skipper Paddy Jarman also had to pull out of the starting line-up through illness, having travelled, while Liam Phillips was injured and was taken to hospital to have stitches and is doubtful for this Saturday.

However, Wellington have strength in depth and still proved far too strong for Argaum with the game being shortened to 70 minutes, with both sides’ agreement.
