NOAH and Theo Jones, both junior members of Oake Manor Golf Club, have enjoyed another successful weekend. After being in the Doombar Classic winning team, they came first and second in Division Three of Saturday’s Stableford Competition with incredible scores of 51 and 49 points, earning them handicap cuts of eight and seven shots respectively.

The first three players in Division One of the Stableford all scored 40 points but, on count back, Owen Irish was first, Matthew Croker second, Jamie Tong third, and Phillip Coleman fourth with 39 points. Richard Taylor won Division Two, scoring 44 points. Robert Stevens came second with 41 points, Calum Pinn was third with 38 points and Darren Couch fourth, also with 38 points. Noah Jones won Division Three, scoring 51 points, Theo Jones was second with 49 points, Jonny Cole third with 44 points and Michael Speed fourth with 41 points.

Nadine Bidgway was the clear winner of the Ladies Sunday Stableford, scoring 38 points. Jane Clist was second in Division One with 32 points and Jill Loader third with 31 points. Claire Tough won Division Two with 33 points, Kayleigh Avey was second with 31 points and Megan Hembery third on 29 points.

Matthew Croker was the overall winning of the Sunday Bogey Competition with a score of +4. Second in Division One was Kieran Aston, also +4, Gary Tillett came third with +2 and Mathew Durbin was fourth on +1. Sam Burgess won Division Two with +2, while the next three players all scored +1. On count back Paul Avey was second, Ian Loader third and Simon Hartstone fourth. The first three players in Division Three all scored +2. On count back Ken Roberts was first, Rufus Williams-Pritchard second, Alan Christian third and Antony Birtwhistle fourth on 0.

Trevor Cook won the Seniors Monday Stableford, scoring 37 points. Second in Division One was Colin Warnes with 35 points, Jeff Copp was third with 34 points and Andrew Brown was fourth with 33 points. The first three players in Division Two all scored 33 points. On count back Peter Brighton was first, John Robbins second and Terry Brown third. John Stinchcombe came fourth with 31 points.

Josh Martin won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford, scoring 42 points. Nathaniel Pepperell was second in Division One with 39 points, Jon Ball was third, also with 39 points, and Michael Tourle was fourth with 38 points. Mark Pritchard won Division Two with 41 points, Rufus Williams-Pritchard was second on 38 points, Daniel Bidgway came third with 37, and Jason Bailey fourth, also with 37 points.
