FORMER Wellington Rugby Club captain Robin Trott scored nett 67 to win Division One in the Somerset County Cars Toyota Medal at Oake Manor Golf Club. Andrew Ford was second with nett 68, Simon Molloy third with nett 69 and Keiran Ashton fourth, also with nett 69.
Robert Stevens won Division Two with the best score of the day – nett 63. Ian Loader was second with nett 69, Phil Gadd was third with nett 70 and Jamie Bidiscombe fourth, also with nett 70.
Richard Connell won Division Three, scoring nett 67, Mick Cawley was second with nett 68, Benjamin Thompson was third with nett 69 and Steve Lowe was fourth with nett 70.
Suzanne Reed scored 35 points to win the Ladies Sunday Stableford, Nadine Bidgway was second, also with 35 points, Kathy Salway was third with 29 points, and Bev King fourth, also 29 points.
Seniors Captain John Beer won the Seniors Past Captains Cup in the Monday Stableford with 43 points. The next three players in Division One all scored 40 points. On count back Mike Shaw came second, Peter Matthews was third and Dave Kinnear fourth. Ken Pitcher won Division Two, scoring 42 points, Alan Harman was second with 38 points, Terry Burrow was third, also with 38 points, and Eddie Hennessy was fourth with 37 points.
Liz How scored 34 points to win Division One in the Ladies Tuesday Stableford. The next three ladies all scored 32 points. On count back Janet Howe was second, Suzanne Reed was third and Pam Akers fourth. Sheila Grant won Division Two with 34 points, Jenny Swann came second with 33 points, Mary Wood was third with 32 points and Ros Shepherd fourth, also with 32 points.
Mark Tydings won Division One of the Wednesday Midweek Stableford with 42 points – the best score of the day. Cyril Kelly was second with 39 points, Robert Stevens third with 38 points and Michael Tourle fourth with 37 points. Lloyd Irish won Division Two, scoring 39 points, Steven Lowe was second with 38 points, John Phripp third with 36 points and Steve Cann fourth, also 36 points.
