WELLINGTON play their last rugby match of the year in Regional Two South West when they entertain Crediton at the Athletic Ground on Saturday, December 20 (2.30p.m.).
It is already proving to be a hard and long season for Wellington who lost a number of their most senior and experienced players during the summer who have not been replaced.
The result has been defeat in all 11 of their matches, the latest being a 60-7 away loss to second-placed Tiverton last weekend.
It means they go into Saturday’s game 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table - and already facing relegation at the end of the season.
Fixtures for Saturday, December 20: North Petherton v Okehampton, Wadebridge Camels v Penzance & Newlyn, Wellington v Crediton, Winscombe v Tiverton, Teignmouth v Ivybridge, Weston super Mare v Cullompton.
Wellington 2nd XV, who have also yet to get off the mark, play away to Martock in Counties Three Somerset South.
Wellington, who have lost all ten of their games, have a minus nine points record at the foot of the table.
Meanwhile Wellington’s footballers, who were unlucky to lose to leaders Clevedon Town 2-1 at home last Saturday, play away to Brislington in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League on Saturday, December 20.
Wellington are lying 16th in the table, one place above Brislington who have played one more game and are one point behind their rivals.
Clevedon, who have a three-point lead at the top of the table, are home to St Blazey while second-placed Sidmouth Town, who have played three more games than the leaders, are home to ninth-placed Helston Athletic.
Wellington Reserves, who gained a goalless away draw against Crediton United Reserves in the Premier Division of the Devon and Exeter League last Saturday, face the same opposition at home this Saturday (2.15p.m.).
