JAKE Phillips, of Jack of all Trades, has won Blackdown Hills Skittles League's singles competition which was staged at Dunkesell Highfield Social Club.

He came out on top with a knock of 63, four pins ahead of the runner-up Will Dyer, of Dam Busters.

Richard Bradbeer, of Pitch Plate Rejects, was third with a hand of 58 following a play-off.

Meanwhile, the league will be holding their presentation night at Churchinford Village Hall on Friday, June 21. The cost per person is £6 and must be paid by June 1.
