LAUNA Eyles, of Chelston, near Wellington, struck silver and bronze at the Senior World Badminton Championships which were held at Jeon-Ju, South Korea.
She won silver in the Women's Over 60s with partner Kerry Mullen, from Sherborne, and bronze in the mixed doubles with Gene Joyner from Bristol.
The championships are run in five year age groups from Over 35s, right up to Over 75s.
The event saw more than 1300 players compete over the week with many players from Asia and Europe, with England sending more than 40 players.
England came out overall winners with seven golds, ten silver, and ten bronze, with Japan second and Thailand third.
