THE Mayor of Wellington Gary James is all set for his charity squash marathon at the Wellington club in Corams Lane on Saturday (10 a.m. start).

He said: “Quite a few players are signed up to play, so all things being equal it should be a good day’s squash.  The pledges and sponsorships are going well but we could always do with more to support the chosen charities.

“The other factor regarding the day is that we are promoting Wellington Squash Club and squash in general; what a great sport it is, in not only maintaining fitness levels but having a good contest at the same time.”
