THE Wellington Summer Pool League has come to a successful conclusion with its finals night at the Victoria Arms in North Street.
Andy Bowrah put in a classy performance to win the main singles final against Ed Williams, while young George Sanders beat Gary Grensted to win the Microcheck singles trophy.
Andy Bowrah, looking to pick up two trophies on the night, and Jack Wall won a close match to win the doubles against George Sanders and Liam Phillips. In the Team final Mutts Nutts ran out strong winners against Snipers in the final - not long after winning the first division title after a close fight with Rattled Blacks.
Meanwhile, Mutts Nutts won the 1st division by just one point, with Ed Williams, Gary Newall and Bob Deville winning all their games to beat SS Squad 10-5.
Rattled Blacks took second place after a great comeback in recent weeks with Andy Bowrah, Andy Dart and Ryan Redwood winning all their matches for a 12-3 win against Milos Minions.
Here for the Beer enjoyed a good night, pulling off a 9-6 win against Changing Lanes.
Snipers won the second division title by a clear 29 points with Fran Radford knocking in a hat trick for them to gain an 11-4 win against Old Blues.
Rows Rebels also enjoyed a good night but the 9-6 win was not enough to close the gap on The Jets who took second place in the division.
Pocket Rockets v Old Blues have played their back match, which saw Blues take their first win of the season with a hat trick from Pete Brown and Chris March.
The Micro Check semi finals took place with Gary Grensted and George Sanders going through to the final.
