WELLINGTON Pool League have returned to a united division for the winter season.
In Week 2, Changing Lanes claimed top of the division from Here for the Beer after thrashing a short sided Two Tees 15-0. In second position are Mutts Nutts, with Liam Phillips knocking in a total clearance and a hat trick for them to take an 11-4 win against Milos Minions.
Snipers had a good night, dropping just two games for an 13-2 win against Pocket Rockets with Fran Radford, Gaz Smith, Leon Sprague, Matt Huggett and Rich Maslen winning all their games.
Ryan Redwood, Matty Redwood, Jack Wall and Mark Lister took two wins from two to beat Old Blues 11-4 while a hat trick from Marc Baker saw Rows Rebels beat The Jets 11-4.
Dave Darch won all his games for Legends, but in the final game decider it was SS Squad that took the 8-7 win.
Meanwhile, the Wellington Summer Pool League came to a successful conclusion with its finals night at the Victoria Arms in North Street.
Andy Bowrah put in a classy performance to win the main singles final against Ed Williams, while young George Sanders beat Gary Grensted to win the Microcheck singles trophy.
Andy Bowrah, looking to pick up two trophies on the night, and Jack Wall won a close match to win the doubles against George Sanders and Liam Phillips.
In the Team final Mutts Nutts ran out strong winners against Snipers in the final - not long after winning the first division title after a close fight with Rattled Blacks.
In the end only one point separated Mutts Nutts from their main rivals following an exciting summmer of pool matches.
The second division title was easily won by Snipers - by 29 points.
