ROB Higgs, of Relyon, begins his defence of the Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Cyril Hicks Singles Competition next Wednesday, February 28.

He is set to play at the Wellington Conservative Club, downstairs, and is among seven players who are in the 9.00 group.

Forty-two players will be playing at two difference venues – Wellington Conservative Club and Rockwell Green Institute.

The top four players in each group go through to the next round.
