SPLIT Pins remain three points clear at the top of Wellington Ladies Skittles League after they chalked up their 12th win of the winter on Monday night.
Nicky Bright top scored for Split Pins with a fine hand of 53 as they beat Pin & Tonics away by 38 pins.
However, champions Jolly Blues kept in touch with the leaders in second place - they also have two crucial matches in hand - after they beat Geronimo away by 37 pins with Ali Campbell hitting a fantastic 64 - the best score of the night.
All Blacks, in fourth spot, gained a 39-pin success at home to Wanderers with Freda Tooze steering them to victory with a splendid 58, while LOA Spare squeezed home by seven pins at home to Water Babies.

Meanwhile, Land Girls and Jolly Blues will meet each other in the KO Cup final which will be staged at the Football Club on Monday, February 23, with an 8p.m. start.
Land Girls beat Muppets by 38 pins in the semi-finals earlier this month while the Blues were 24-pin winners against Pin & Tonics. Both Land Girls and the Blues are chasing league and cup doubles.
