THE Somerset cricketers barbecue, which is due to take place at Howzat, Fitzhead, on Thursday, July 13, will have a very special guest chef.

Mary Elworthy-Coggan, who will be hosting her 29th BBQ., has secured the services of Somerset all rounder Roelof van den Merwe. He will be assisted by Max Waller who is enjoying a well deserved testimonial this year.

Many of the Somerset cricketers will be attending this event which gets underway after the close of play of the championship match against Hampshire.
