WELLINGTON Rugby Club has thanked all the volunteers who helped with work at the club’s headquarters over the weekend with various jobs being carried out in readiness for the 2019-20 season.
A shopping list of ‘must do’ jobs were undertaken over June 22-23 in the NatWest Rugby Force Weekend.
The club would like to thank Profit Access for the use of a cherry picker which was helped in the painting of the goal posts and cleaning the stand.
Power washing and tidying up the patio area was carried out, while maintenance was carried out in the changing rooms.
A club spokesman said: “Some jobs will need a little more time spent on them before the start of the season such as the changing room maintenance.
“But this was a fantastic effort by all involved and we would like to thank everyone who came down to the club over the weekend to help out and make such a difference.”
