JASON Leonard, England’s most capped rugby player, is to be the guest speaker at a dinner to mark 100 years of rugby at Wellington School.

He is also a World Cup winner and has been president of the RFU and is currently chairman of the British and Irish Lions.

The event is to be held in the school’s Princess Royal Sports Complex on Saturday, September 21, the day after the start of the World Cup.

Former coach and current broadcaster Sean Holley, who has been head of coach at Ospreys, Bristol and part of the Welsh national side, will also be at the event.

Tickets at £65 each, which includes pre-dinner drinks and a four-course meal, are available via trybooking.co.uk/klx.

Alternatively, anyone hosting a table and wanting guests to book individually can do so by e-mailing [email protected]

The school’s lst XV will be in action earlier in the day.
