WELLINGTON second row Will Machin will make himself available for Wellington on a regular basis next season despite being at Bath University.

The youngster was a regular last season for Wellington who finished fifth in Regional Two South West.

Meanwhile back rower Cam Venn, who had a knee operation towards the end of last season, is making a good recovery and is expected to be able to start the new rugby season.

Wellington have already held a players' meeting at which Danny Lee was chosen to captain the lst XV next season, and Andrew Bellamy the 2nd XV.
