WELLINGTON came back from a 14-5 deficit at Chard in the first half to gain a 27-14 away win over the South Somerset side in Regional Two South West yesterday (Sat).

Ollie Price led the fightback with two tries, with skipper Danny Lee, George Hodgson and Tyler Hart also scoring five pointers, with Alex Davey kicking a conversion.

Victory enabled Wellington to pull off the season's double over Chard - but they remain in seventh place in the table.

Wellington are home to North Petherton this coming Saturday and will be looking to avenge a 28-24 loss away to their rivals on a Friday night last November.
