WELINGTON put up a spirited fight before losing 3-2 at home to unbeaten Larkhall Athletic in the first round of the Les Phillips Cup on Saturday (Nov 23).

In fact Wellington led 2-1 in the second half before Larkhall got over the line with a penalty and own goal.
