WELLINGTON 2nd XV will be back in action tomorrow (Thurs) when they play Hornets in the Somerset Vase (7.30p.m.).

They were also due to play Taunton side Wyvern at the Athletic Ground on Saturday but this has not been cancelled.

"We are not ruling out arranging one more game at home before the season ends," said Wellington coach Allyn Chetland.

Wellington's first team were due to play Winscombe away last Saturday in a group match in the Somerset Cup but had to call if off.

Chetland explained: "We had lots of players unavailable including 11 back rowers. We eventually managed to get a second team together.

"The first team's game at Winscombe would have been their last in the Somerset Cup."
