A WELLINGTON School athlete is achieving astounding success - and breaking records!

Jack Turner (pictured) competed in the England Champs (U18) decathlon - and won the event, but more importantly he achieved the British Standard for the European Championships in Hungary on July 5-8.

Team GB requires 6900 points and Jack got 7034, knocking Daley Thompson into third place in the all-time rankings list and one point behind the British record of 7035.
