WELLINGTON stretched their unbeaten run to four matches in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League with a 2-0 victory in North Devon on Tuesday night.

They scored their goals in the last ten minutes - and both followed throw-ins from returning defender Jack Bown-Porter. On-loan Exeter City player Alfie Clark was also back in the side along with three other changes.

Wellington broke the deadlock approaching the 80-minute mark when Bown-Porter's long throw-in was headed on and Sully McKenna glanced home.

And they clinched the points in the 88th minute when a throw by Bown-Porter found Glen Wright who scored with a splendid volley from distance.

As a result Wellington, who have now collected ten points from their last four matches, went above Ilfracombe into 14th spot in the division and now find themselves in a great position to move into a mid-table spot.
