WELLINGTON will be looking to bounce back after two disappointing results in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League when they play leaders Ilminster at home on Saturday, July 4 (12 noon).
Having begun the season with an unbeaten run, Wellington have lost their last two matches in the division - against Wembdon and Chard.
They have slipped to fifth in the table and trail Ilminster, who have yet to lose a match, by 42 points, both sides having played the same number of games at the half-way stage of the season.
Ilminster have won seven of their nine league games, while one was cancelled and the other abandoned. The South Somerset side have a 25-point lead over second-placed Yeovil.
Wellington will go into Saturday’s match with renewed confidence following impressive displays in reaching the new Four Regions T20 final which is set to be played against Swindon later this month.
