OUTDOOR sport in the Wellington area is under threat again this weekend.

Both Wellington's rugby and football teams have home matches - Sidmouth are the visitors to the rugby ground at the Athletic Field while Falmouth provide the opposition for the footballers at the Playing Field.

Any more substantial rain will mean pitch inspections for both clubs.There is also a full programme sheduled for the Taunton Saturday, Somerset Sunday, Taunton Youth and Somerset Women's and Girls Football Leagues this weekend.

All these leagues were affected by the bad weather last weekend, forcing numerous games to be called off.
