HUNDREDS of tractors passed through Hemyock on Easter Sunday as part of the Devon National Vintage Tractor Road Run.

The 28-mile route started at Smeatharpe Stadium and headed west to Honiton Show Ground, stopping for a lunch, and then returned to the stadium via an easterly route.

More than 650 tractors travelling in groups of six took part in the event organised by East Devon Tractor & Vintage Machinery Club.

Proceeds will go to Devon Air Ambulance, St Luke’s Hospice and Devon Freewheelers in Honiton.

Many makes of tractors took part, from Allis Charmers to Zetor.
