SIX fire crews from around Somerset are tackling an ongoing domestic fire in Taunton which broke out on Tuesday morning (June 17).

At 10.03am, Devon and Somerset Fire Services received multiple calls about a property fire in Henlade, Taunton.

The control team initially mobilised two fire engines from Taunton, who soon requested additional appliances from Wellington, Bridgwater, Street, Martock and Yeovil.

The incident is ongoing.

The A358 between Ruishton and Thornfalcon is experiencing severe delays, and a section of the road is reportedly closed.
