PUPILS at Langford Budville Primary School celebrated Roald Dahl Day with a colourful procession of amazing character costumes.

Both classes used Dahl’s books to write instructions for a marvellous medicine, create

an advert for a ‘Dahlicious’ chocolate bar and watched the Puffin live webcast with Quentin Blake.

They even had a go at drawing book characters in the style of Blake.

It was a wonderful day that helped the children learn about one of the nation’s most popular authors.

Further English work will focus on Dahl’s last book ‘The Minpins’.
