THIS colourful visitor was first spotted on Friday by Mark Pearce, the gardener at Kittisford House, near Wellington.

It later turned up looking rather cold and hungry at neighbour Roger Bradford’s bird table, along with the more usual tits, robins and chaffinches.

Roger has given it temporary accommodation – with meals – next to his AGA and it is now much happier.

If any reader can help in reuniting the little wanderer with its owner, they should contact Roger on 01823 672350.
