MANAGER Carole Taylor and pupils from Wellington Community Playgroup receive a cheque from Wellington Carnival presented by Carnival Queen Melissa Knell.

Carole said: “We nearly forgot about this – Wellington Carnival has just handed us a cheque for £375 for taking part in the sponsored abseil event back in February.

“It’s fantastic timing as we have just acquired an extra bit of outside space and fully intend to use this money to provide the children with a mud garden. We are sure they will all enjoy it.”
