THE annual Wellington ‘Christmas Shop Window Competition’ winners have been announced after hard deliberation.

T Perry & Son & Granddaughter won the shield with their extraordinary festive display.

Joint runners up were A House of Cake and Bloomin Lovely Flower Shop, whose displays were filled with Christmas cheer.

A spokesperson for Wellington Town Council, said: “Well done to all our entrants and we hope that people have enjoyed seeing this year's displays.”

Every year, Wellington Town Council host the competition which encourages local businesses to pull out the stops and create a fantastic window display for the festive season.

A new shield was given to the winners this year which will be engraved with the competition winners for the next 12 years.
