FOR the fifth year running Chelston Park and Gardens has been awarded the Gold Standards Framework Platinum Award.

The Gold Standard Framework (GSF) aims to help care organisations deliver a ‘gold standard' of care for all people nearing the end of life.

The GSF assessor at Chelston Park highlighted how the care home’s activities are co-ordinated in consultation with their physiotherapist.

This is designed to allow the activities team to engage and motivate residents by focusing on what is important to them and optimise a resident’s ability to enjoy life.

A spokesperson for Chelston Park and Gardens said: “Chelston was awarded full marks which was very welcome following being a finalist in GSF's care home of the year back when we last received the accreditation back in 2022.”
